🔒 Security & privacy

Secure, private timesheets

Time records you can defend: kept exactly as they happened, isolated per business and audited.

Isolated per business

Each workspace's data is separated by row-level security in the database itself, not just hidden in the app.

Punches never altered

Corrections are requested and approved with a reason; the original punch is kept.

Audit log

Who changed what and when, with old and new values.

Passkeys, 2FA and a biometric lock

Sign in with a passkey (Touch ID, Windows Hello or your phone), 2FA for everyone (required for managers if you like), and Face ID or fingerprint to open the app.

Photo protection

Turn it on and shift, clock-in and kiosk photos are encrypted on the device that takes them. Only your key holders and the person in the photo can open them.

Your data, your call

Export everything any time. Records are kept for the period you choose.

Payments by Stripe

Card details never touch Vaultime.

Location, only when it matters

With GPS clock-in, a phone's location is read once when someone clocks in or out, and checked against the site's boundary. It's never tracked in between, and never during breaks. People can refuse location; where your workplace allows it, the punch is recorded without it and flagged for a manager.

Ask Vaultime and your data

Questions and answers aren't stored, except the question that starts an export someone makes, kept 30 days so they can make it again. To answer, the question and the data needed (what the asker can already see) are sent to Google's Gemini API on paid terms that don't use it to train models. Super Admins decide who can ask.
