Add photos to your work

Who: everyone, when your workplace has Photos of work on (Settings → Clock in → Options). It works with or without Clock in.

Photos go on the record you already make:

How you work Where to add photos When
Clock in The Clock card → Photos During the shift, or up to 12 hours after
Type your hours Log hours → Save and add photos, or open the entry → Add photos While it isn't approved, up to 7 days after its date
Rostered, no Clock in My shifts → your shift → Photos From an hour before it starts to 12 hours after it ends
  1. Tap Add photo, then Take a photo or Choose from photos.
  2. Pick a label if you like: Before, After, Issue, Delivery or Other.
  3. Add a note (optional) and tap Add photo.
  • Up to 100 on each shift or entry (and 300 a day). Only you and your managers see them; you can remove one within 24 hours unless a manager has kept it.
  • Site: Log hours has a Site field when your workplace has sites; job sites and workplaces are listed separately, it starts at the last one you used, choosing a project fills in its job site (and a job site its project), and an entry logged from a rostered shift takes that shift's site. Photos of that work show on the site's page.
  • Rostered shift, then logged: photos you added in My shifts show on the entry too.
  • No signal? The photo is saved on your phone and added when you're back online.
  • Taken on another day than the entry (a photo chosen from last week, say) is marked for your manager, and so is one chosen from your photos rather than taken in the app.
  • Stamp photos and photo protection work the same as on shift photos.

Example: Tom's crew doesn't use Clock in. At the end of Tuesday he opens Log hours, types 7:00 to 3:30 at Gate A, and taps Save and add photos. He adds three photos labelled After and one labelled Issue with the note Cracked tile, left corner.
