1. Getting started
Vaultime organises work into workspaces, one per business. You can belong to several (say, a café you work at and your own side business), and you have a role in each:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Employee | Log, clock and submit their own time; see their shifts, take open shifts, ask for cover, swaps and leave, and say when they can't work; see their own reports |
| Admin | Everything an Employee can, plus approvals (time, corrections, leave, cover and swaps), the roster, people, projects, work types, sites and kiosks |
| Super Admin | Everything an Admin can, plus workspace settings and the audit log. A workspace can have several; their time and leave are approved by the Owner or another Super Admin |
| Owner | The Super Admin who pays: also billing, handing the workspace over, deleting it, and making Super Admins. Their own time and leave are approved automatically |
Whoever creates a workspace becomes its Super Admin and Owner. Example: at Harbour Café, Priya created the workspace, so she's the Super Admin. She made Tom an Admin so he can approve timesheets and build the roster, and Maya and Leo are Employees.
