Rules and friendly warnings
Some things Vaultime won't allow. Others it just double-checks with you, because there can be a good reason for them.
| Vaultime blocks it | Vaultime warns, you can save anyway |
|---|---|
| More than 2 decimal places of hours (e.g. 1.255) | You already have an entry for this project on this day |
| More than 24 hours in one entry | The times overlap another entry, e.g. two projects both 9 am–5 pm |
| No work type when the project has some | More than 16 hours logged in one day |
| A date more than 365 days back | More than 60 hours logged in the week |
| Logging to an archived project |
Example: Aisha logs a second Chen Family entry for Tuesday afternoon. Vaultime asks You already have an entry for this project on this day. It's a separate piece of work, so she taps to save anyway.
