Lists of choices
A list keeps values tidy: Weekly is always Weekly, never weekly pay.
- Add a choice one at a time, or Paste a list: one per line (names with commas stay whole), or one line separated by commas, semicolons or tabs. You see what will be added, and what's skipped (already there, too long, over 500), before it goes in.
- Start from a list: countries, Australian states and territories, US states, Canadian provinces and territories, New Zealand regions or UK nations (names or codes). Edit it after.
- A long list has search, Sort A–Z, rename, remove and Remove all.
- Rename a choice and every person, project or invitation with it changes too (recorded in the Audit log). A choice someone has can't be removed: rename it, or change them first.
- Can pick more than one (for Skills, Licences held): people tap chips, or search a long list and add each pick. In a spreadsheet, separate picks with
;(Plumbing; Electrical). A choice can't contain;in such a list, and the switch can't be turned off while someone has several picked.
With more than 15 choices, filling one in is a search box: type aus and pick Australia. A value that isn't a choice is refused, with the closest one suggested: "Did you mean Australia?"
Example: Sam adds State on People and taps Start from a list → Australian states and territories (codes): ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA go in at once.
