Delete your account
Who: anyone. Go to: Profile → Delete my account (at the bottom).
Deleting your account is immediate and can't be undone.
- Tap Delete my account. Vaultime first checks whether anything stops it, and shows what will go and what will stay.
- Type DELETE and tap Delete my account. You're signed out and get a short confirmation email.
What goes: every way you sign in (password, Google, Microsoft, Apple, passkeys and two-factor), your email, photo, devices, notifications and Ask Vaultime feedback, and your place in every workspace (its managers are told).
What stays: records workspaces keep about your work, like timesheets, clock-ins, shifts and leave. They stay with each workspace with your name, marked (account deleted), because employers have to keep employee records.
If you own a workspace:
- With other people in it: hand it over to another Super Admin, or delete it, first (Settings → Data and privacy). Delete my account tells you which one and links there.
- With only you in it: it's deleted with your account, and any subscription for it is cancelled.
The only platform owner can't delete their account until they add another.
You're welcome back any time: sign up again with the same email for a fresh account.
Example: Leo has left the café and no longer needs Vaultime. He opens Profile → Delete my account, sees he'll leave Harbour Café and that his past timesheets stay with them, types DELETE and confirms. The café's managers get a notice, and his hours still appear in Reports as Leo Park (account deleted).
