17. Payroll and exports (the Owner, and people they give access to)
Approved hours, sorted into your own kinds by your own rules, sent to your payroll: the exact file it imports, or straight into Xero Payroll.
Vaultime calculates no pay. No rates, wages, tax, super or payslips. It sorts hours (Ordinary, Overtime, Saturday…) by rules you write, never suggested ones, and your payroll pays. Check every export in your payroll before you pay.
Who: the Owner, and people they give access to in Payroll → Access: Fields, Set up (kinds, rules, holidays, exports, Xero) and Run exports. With teams on, payroll access is for Super Admins (it covers everyone). Every change of access is in the Audit log, and the person is told.
