Before a rostered shift: the countdown
Who: everyone with a published shift, when the workplace uses Clock in.
When your shift reminder is due (Settings → Roster → Shift reminder), the timer shows a countdown to your start instead of the usual reminder: Starts in 42:15, with the site and times. Its buttons:
- I'm on my way: your manager sees On the way on the roster. The buttons then change to Directions and Clock in.
- Directions: opens your phone's maps app with directions to the site: Apple Maps on an iPhone, Google Maps on Android.
- Clock in: opens Vaultime to clock in as usual.
The countdown turns into your shift timer when you clock in, and goes away if you're marked a no-show. Phones that can't show it get the normal Shift coming up notification instead.
Example: Ana's shift at 22 Ocean Rd starts at 12:00 and the reminder is set to 1 hour. At 11:00 her lock screen shows Starts in 60:00. She taps I'm on my way, then Directions, and Google Maps opens with the route. Sam sees On the way next to her shift.
