During your shift

Go to: the Clock card while you're clocked in (or the lock-screen timer).

  • Start break and End break are one tap, however your workplace clocks in. Breaks never read your location and never need a scan. Break time isn't counted as work.
  • Switch project closes the current entry and starts the next one with no gap. It appears when your workplace asks for projects and you have another one to switch to.
  • Move to next job appears when your workplace has job sites (see Moving between jobs in one day).
  • Photos adds photos to your shift: tap Add photo, then Take a photo or Choose from photos, add a note if you like, and tap Add photo. Pick a label if you like (Before, After, Issue, Delivery, Other). Up to 100 a shift. Only you and your managers see them; you can remove one within 24 hours (unless a manager has kept it). No signal? The photo is saved on your phone and added when you're back online (the card shows Photos (1 waiting)); it must have been taken during the shift or up to 12 hours after, and sent within 3 days. Photos you choose from your library are marked From photos for your manager. You can still add one up to 12 hours after clocking out, from the entry in Timesheets (See punches). It appears when your workplace has Photos of work on. No Clock in? See Add photos to your work.
  • The card shows how long you've been clocked in, where, and on what.
  • Rostered? The card also shows your shift, e.g. Rostered 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Clocking in links your punch to that shift, uses its project if you don't pick one, and flags Late or Left before rostered finish when you're outside the grace time.

Example: at 11:30 Maya taps Start break; the card switches to On break 0:12. At 12:00 she taps End break, and the 30 minutes aren't counted as work.
