What if I'm not at the site?
The punch is still recorded, so you never lose a shift to a bad GPS reading, but it's flagged for your manager to review, and the message tells you why. Some workplaces set a site to Refuse it, which refuses phone punches from outside it.
| You'll see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Clocked in at site, n m away | All good |
| Outside the site boundary | You were further away than the site allows |
| Not at any site | You weren't near any of your workplace's sites, and remote clock-in isn't allowed |
| No location / Imprecise location | Location was off, refused or rough |
| Simulated location | Your device reported a faked location |
| Remote | Your workplace allows remote clock-in and you weren't at a site. That's fine; it isn't sent for review |
Example: Leo taps Clock in from the car park across the road. It says Clocked in, flagged: you were 240 m from Harbour Café. His time is recorded, and Tom sees the flag when approving.
