Set up a site
Who: Admins and Super Admins. Go to: Settings → Sites → Workplaces → Add site.
- Give it a name and search for its address, or tap Use my location while you're there.
- Drag the pin onto the building and set the boundary with the slider (30–300 m). Keep it just big enough; 80–120 m is safer for large sites, since indoor GPS drifts.
- Choose what happens outside the boundary: Flag it (recommended) or Refuse it.
- Optionally add an office network, so computers there count as on-site even when they can't pinpoint their location. Only use Add this network while you're at the site.
- Choose the ways to clock in here. Only the ways switched on for the workspace can be picked.
- Optionally pick a default project: clock-ins here go to it when nobody picks one.
- Optionally limit who can clock in here, and check the time zone.
- Tap Save.
Printed site code: when a site uses Printed site code, open it again and tap Print site code for an A4 page to put up. Replace code makes a new one and stops every old printout working (useful if a copy has gone missing).
On the macOS and Windows apps the map is a picture; search the address to place the pin. If an Admin loosens a site's rules (a wider boundary, a moved pin, a new network, strict switched to flag), the Super Admin is told.
Example: Priya adds Harbour Café, searches 12 Beach Rd, drags the pin onto the building, sets 80 m and Flag it, and ticks Phone and Kiosk: name + PIN. The café's Wi-Fi is added with Add this network so the office laptop counts as on-site.
