Travel pay between jobs
Who: the Super Admin. Go to: Settings → Time entry → Travel between jobs.
- Paid: drives between jobs are paid time.
- Recorded, not paid: drives are on the timesheet but not paid.
- Paid up to a number of minutes a trip (Most paid a trip).
- Flag long trips flags a drive taking much longer than its distance suggests (over 3 minutes a km plus 20 minutes).
When anyone moved between jobs, CSV and Excel exports add Part (Work, Travel, Supplies or errand) and Travel km (straight-line distance of each drive), for vehicle allowances.
Example: Sam pays travel up to 30 minutes a trip. Jake's 35-minute drive is paid as 30 minutes; the full 35 stay on the timesheet. At the end of the month Sam exports CSV and totals Travel km for Jake's vehicle allowance.
